Being lonely is hard.
Building a great relationship is hard.

Life doesn't hand-out easy.

The question isn't...

"How do I avoid hardship?"

"What hardship is worth enduring?"

That's a completely different question.

When I started Empowered Elixir, people told me the beverage industry was one of the hardest industries in the world.

They were right.

It's brutally competitive.

Margins are thin.

Retailers say no far more often than they say yes.

One manufacturing delay can cost months.

One packaging mistake can cost thousands.

Thousands of beverage brands disappear every year.

It's hard.

But you know what would've been harder?

Living the rest of my life wondering if I could have built it.

Watching someone else create the company I imagined.

Accepting a life that felt smaller than the one I knew I was capable of living.

That would've been harder.

People often wait until they feel confident before they begin.

Confidence doesn't work that way.

Confidence is a receipt.

It comes after you've done something difficult.

Action creates momentum.

Momentum creates belief.

Belief changes identity.

Eventually, you're no longer someone trying.

You're someone who simply does.

That's why Empowered Elixir exists.

Not because building an organic energy company was easy.

Because, for me, it was a hard worth choosing.
