Empowering Rituals To Supercharge Your Day

There’s no doubt that your daily habits have the power to change your entire life. Our daily rituals have the power to either empower us or hinder our productivity and keep us from attaining our goals.

For example, do you wake up early and take the necessary steps to prepare your mind and body for the day ahead? Or do you tend to find yourself rushing to get the kids to school and struggling to make it to work on time?

You see, far too often, we go through the routine of our day-to-day lives kind of on autopilot, not giving much thought to how these daily actions affect us.

  1.   Write down a quick inventory of your day from the moment you wake up to when you go to bed in the evening.
  1.   Take a look at each habit and decide whether it is moving you toward or away from your goals? If the habit is neither moving you towards nor away from your goals, you can note it down as a neutral habit.
  1.   Put a star next to any habit you think may stop you from achieving your desired results.
  1.   Next, choose one of the habits you starred in and replace it with an empowering positive daily ritual that will move you forward.

Wake Up A Little Earlier

Have you ever had that feeling that there’s just not enough time in the day to squeeze in time for yourself? 

You’ll be amazed at how powerful waking up just 30 minutes earlier can be. This habit alone can be a game-changer. 

Get Moving

Taking even a few minutes to get your body moving can work wonders for the rest of your day. For example, just a short five-minute walk to get the blood flowing can jumpstart your body and ensure that you’ll be functioning at your best.

Meditate

If you’re constantly stressed and feel like your thoughts are racing through your head, then a quick mental break might be all you need.

Mediation gives you a break from the constant stream of thinking that we all often fall victim to and has been shown to decrease anxiety and improve cognitive function.
